"You & Me I" is part of a diptych, combining fruits and flowers in an ikebana inspired still life. Ikebana is the Japanese art of floral arranging, with roots in Zen Buddhist philosophy. It encourages one to appreciate the beauty of nature while simultaneously recognizing that everything in nature is temporary, and seasons come and go.
